THE UNION AND NU MEDIA SECURE PLACE ON SCOTTISH EXECUTIVE ROSTER

The Union has been successful in securing its place on the Scottish Executive creative agency roster after a major contract review by the Scottish Executive. For the first time, a creative agency roster will handle the advertising requirements of Historic Scotland, NHS24, Quality Meat Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Executive and VisitScotland. The contracts will run for three years from August 2004 with an option for a one year extension. The creative agency contract (for all agencies on the roster) value is estimated between £6 million to £15 million per annum based on historical expenditure. The Union’s web division, Nu Media, was also successful in winning a place on the web agency roster for the Scottish Executive for the first time. Ian McAteer, The Union’s Managing Director, said “This was a highly competitive tender and we are delighted to have been chosen. We look forward to showing the Scottish Executive how we can add value to their communications with our integrated approach to marketing.”
