The Union developed the advertising and promotions for Historic Scotland for almost ten years. The work involved marketing access to Scotland’s built heritage through Free Weekends, recruitment of Memberships, and promoting special events. Historic Scotland operates in a highly competitive and commercial market and therefore it was vital that the marketing communications had cut-through and demonstrated strong effectiveness. The Union won a considerable number of creative and effectiveness awards over the years – which is testament to the strong commercial results achieved.
