Together with the Scottish Government and Road Safety Scotland we created an experiential activation to encourage drivers to watch their speed in built-up areas. The result was a truly absorbing, and ultimately shocking, VR experience that dramatised the unerring truth that accidents happen when least expected.

In 2017, the Scottish Government radically changed how it marketed to parents by re-organising multiple health and education related campaigns under one umbrella – Parent Club. This strategy has achieved real behaviour change, inspiring action in 40% of parents surveyed.

After practising as an architect I joined The Union as a junior copywriter in 1997 when there were nine people in the agency. I became Deputy Creative Director in 2004 and Creative Director in 2008. My remit is to keep striving for excellence in thought and execution. I have a soft spot for Battenberg cake.
